Ignacia Araya
Associate Attorney

Ignacia is an Associate Attorney at the Firm where she represents clients in immigration and criminal defense matters. Born in Santiago, Chile, she is fluent in Spanish and is deeply committed to helping individuals and families navigate difficult legal situations with clarity, compassion, and strong advocacy.
Ignacia graduated summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where she ranked in the top 5% of her class. She earned her undergraduate degrees from Florida State University, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus in Editing, Writing, and Media.
During law school, Ignacia served as Assistant Lead Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review and as President of the Immigration Law Organization. Her academic excellence earned her multiple CALI Book Awards, consistent placement on the Dean’s List, and publication in the Nova Law Review. She also served as a Teaching Assistant in Legal Research and Writing, where she helped mentor first-year law students.
Ignacia is known for her meticulous research, thoughtful case preparation, and unwavering dedication to her clients’ rights. She is especially passionate about keeping families together and providing effective, client-centered representation to those facing some of life’s most challenging legal circumstances.
